Fast & Furious 8: 12 Things We Want To See

11. The Shaw Brothers Team Up

There were two big surprises in Furious 7: firstly, it's revealed that Owen Shaw (Luke Evans) somehow survived being ejected out of a plane at the end of the previous movie, and secondly, that Deckard Shaw isn't killed at the end, but is instead imprisoned in a maximum security facility by Agent Hobbes. This has of course caused fans to speculate as to whether the pair will be back for Furious 8 as a tag team of sorts. The set-up feels ready-made by this point: the movie opens with a now-healed Owen breaking his brother out of prison in a huge, insane set-piece, and the two then join forces to present the most dangerous threat the gang has faced to date. If the filmmakers really run with the ball on this one and all the scheduling can work out, Furious 8 has the potential to be a pretty amazing conclusion to the whole Shaw saga.
