17. Tej Drives Across A Collapsing Rope Bridge
The film's opening set-piece sees the family traveling to Montecito, Central America to try and track down Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) after his plane crashed.
This leads to an insane chase across a minefield, and an outrageous beat where Tej (Ludacris) ends up driving himself, Roman (Tyrese Gibson), and Ramsey (Nathalie Emanuel) across a rickety rope bridge as it collapses behind them.
Not since Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Doom has the rope bridge been given such a memorable - if absurd - cinematic treatment.
The visual of the car just barely clinging to the bridge as it falls apart is exactly the sort of Looney Tunes nonsense this franchise needs more of.
It also has the knock-on effect of forcing Dom to commit the aforementioned ridiculous act of swinging his car around the side of a mountain.
