18. Dom Should've Died AT LEAST Four Times
The Fast and Furious movies have increasingly abandoned the laws of physics in the pursuit of entertainment, but F9 truly takes its heroes' apparent invincibility to completely absurd extremes.
No less than four separate incidents throughout the film should've seen Dom killed or at least horribly maimed, if we're being generous.
From catapulting his car into the broad side of a Central American mountain and flipping over countless times, to blindly jumping out of windows and between vehicles in Edinburgh, falling hundreds of feet into water during the third-act safehouse assault, and in the final battle diving out of a flaming, flipping tanker with nothing more than a bruise to show for it.
As hilarious as all this is, it's also painfully clear the series has totally given up on establishing a consistent set of stakes for its characters.
