Fast & Furious 9: 20 WTF Moments

15. The AWFUL Eurotrash Villain

F9's trio of primary villains are a pretty disappointing bunch, but at least Jakob and Cipher have the star power allure to push them over the top.

But the third antagonist is an altogether more forgettable sort, an associate of Jakob by the name of Otto (Thue Ersted Rasmussen).

We don't learn too much about Otto, except that his father is a dictator and Otto wishes to use his impending riches to step out from under his father's shadow.

Though Rasmussen gives a suitably smarmy performance, Otto is ultimately about as cliched as Eurotrash - or Eurotrash-adjacent - villains come.

Considering the amount of screen time he gets throughout the movie - certainly more than Cipher - it's a shame he's such a cardboard, damp squib of a character.

He doesn't even get a particularly satisfying death, either, being killed off-screen by one of Cipher's drones during the climax.
