18. Letty & Cipher Spend Most Of The Movie In Prison
Letty and Cipher both end up shipped off to the same black site prison by the end of the first act, and that's unfortunately where they spend the entire rest of the damn movie.
Taking an Oscar-winning actress and one of the series' most prominent characters and confining them to a single building for most of the movie is certainly... a choice.
This results in the duo being off-screen for lengthy portions of time, and though they do eventually get to fight one another in the prison's lab - an amusing sequence involving laser robots of all things - it's otherwise a pretty flat showing for both characters.
Considering Cipher spent most of F9 stuck in a glass box and the rest of it behind a computer screen, she really should've been out and about this time.
