The Movie: They said it couldn't be done. They said Marvel were setting themselves up for a fall. They said that fat guy from Parks and Recreation wouldn't be able to hold back from the donuts, but of course, they were all wrong... whoever the hell 'they' are. Guardians Of The Galaxy may have been Marvel's least recognisable property to date, but the movie quickly surpassed expectations, becoming the studios third most successful film so far. Who needs iconic heroes when you can just throw a humanoid tree and a sarcastic raccoon into the mix, right? RIGHT!? What It Says About You: You grew up in the 1980's raised on a diet of Indiana Jones and Star Wars, possibly sleeping in a Jedi duvet. You downloaded the soundtrack the day it was released, even though you already owned all of the songs separately on CD or cassette. You often walk along the road and re-enact Chris Pratt's dance from the opening scene, using a hairbrush in place of an alien rat creature... and you've even bought a long trenchcoat to make it seem more real. You never doubted that a CGI gun-toting raccoon would kick ass and you take joy in reminding those who questioned whether this would work before Guardians became their favorite movie of 2014. You believe an epic dance-off can now solve all of life's problems, but your boss/partner/parents don't seem to agree and that's frustrating. You think Cosmo would make a kick ass pet, but you know you'd have way more fun with Howard the Duck after a few drinks. Soundbite: "Guardians Of The Galaxy is the new Star Wars,"... said the bravest geek the world has ever known. Good luck to you sir. Favorite Movies: Indiana Jones And The Temple of Doom (1984), Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) There we have it. The age old question of what your favorite Marvel movie says about you has finally been answered. You may now sleep easy once again. All we ask in return is that you share this article, so that others may also reap the glorious benefits that a new understanding of one's self can bring. 'Nuff said.
