4. Ana Saves The Day

For perhaps the first time in the series, Ana is actually granted some real, physical agency of her own, sneaking away from her security detail, commandeering one of Christian's cars - an Audi, of course - and driving to the bank to collect the cash to save Mia.

She is met by Jack's accomplice Liz outside the bank, and they drive to the warehouse where Mia is tied up, all while Christian gives chase with his security team.

Though Jack smacks Ana around, she came packing heat and manages to fire a gunshot, blasting out his kneecap, before the cops or Christian manage to arrive. That's right: Ana actually did something on her own without a man having to help her out, which is at least a step up for the series, kinda?

It's still totally insane that the series has even got to the point of kidnappings, murder threats, car chases and shooting people, though.
