Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie: 10 Moments We Definitely Won't See
8. Referring to Christian as Bluebeard
If Christian Grey is not creepy than why does Ana keep comparing him to the main character of a 17th century French folktale that murders all of his wives. The original character of Bluebeard has been thought to be based partially off the serial child murderer Giles de Rais, who got his kicks from blood letting. Why does this strike everyone as being okay? Is it just because Bluebeard is an old story and not really a true figure from history? I wish we had a time machine to take us three hundred years in the future from now where the young female protagonists of erotic fiction refer to future mystery lovers as Hannibal Lecter and Norman Bates. Yes, it is the same thing.
