Clearly, the White Collar star has some big selling points for fans who envisage Christian Grey as a superman figure cut from warm granite (he actually voiced Superman for an animated movie not so long ago), and he wouldn't be too much of a departure from Dornan's looks. Pros He knows how to take his clothes off for films, having been one of Magic Mike's co-strippers (a role he's returned to for the sequel), and he suits the profile of the character, particularly in the wake of Jamie Dornan's casting. He's also a legitimately great actor, which might be a good choice after Dornan's performance. Cons He's a little clean cut: despite his performance in Magic Mike, he's not a particularly edgy screen presence and some might question his ability to sell Grey's darkness.
