Fifty Shades Of Grey Sequels: 12 Actors Who Should Replace Jamie Dornan

9. Colin Egglesfield

He might not be the most recognisable name on this list, but Colin Egglesfield might be a good bet for an outside option, particularly if Universal consciously choose someone with a less established profile. Pros For anyone who has seen Lifetime movie Carnal Innocence, Egglesfield will be a massive option for Grey, since his character in that little seen drama could well have been the BDSM-fan's cousin. He was rich, mysterious and dark, and Egglesfield sold the idea of his potential for aggression particularly well, which would put him in good stead for Grey. Like Dornan, he used to be a model, which some cynics might say is a bigger requirement than actually being able to act. Cons There's something of a stigma attached to stars of soap operas, and Universal might choose to swerve that entirely, particularly since he was fired from Melrose Place when they decided to go "in a new direction".
