Finding Dory Review: 7 Ups And 3 Downs
5. The Truck Stunt
As much as Pixar are masters of crafting an expanded, linked universe full of rich characters, meta-references and rich environments, it's often the moments and set-pieces that are the most memorable. Finding Nemo actually didn't have many of those sharp punctuations, but in the glorious, hilariously funny truck sequence.
The idea of Hank driving while Dory navigates from a glass on the dash is funny enough, but the slow-motion jump through the air to the sound of Louis Armstrong's doleful "Wonderful World" is worthy of being considered a crown jewel in the entire Pixar catalogue.
