First look at MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS

The Bad and Ugly provide us with a first glimpse at MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS, the upcoming "it's so unbelievable it had to be true" film which sees George Clooney play an eccentric veteran who claims to be a former member of the U.S. Army's First Earth Battalion, a unit that employs paranormal powers in their missions. The movie is currently filming out in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is based on a 2004 factual book by journalist Jon Ronson, who couldn't quite believe what he heard from these high ranking officials. Ewan McGregor, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Spacey, Robert Patrick, Stephen Root, Stephen Lang and Rebecca Mader co-star. Clooney's long time friend and producing partner Grant Heslov makes his directorial debut from an adapted screenplay by Peter Straughn (SIXTY SIX, HOW TO LOSE FRIENDS AND ALIENATE PEOPLE). IMDB list a 2010 release.
