Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) in Sony's 3D reboot of
Spider-Man that began filming earlier this week in Los Angeles. My guess is Sony will have to beef up security to avoid daily leaks such as these in the coming weeks.

It's pretty obvious because of the guys wearing police uniforms that the scene being shot is Captain George Stacy's appropriately rained on funeral, the father of Gwen who will be portrayed in this film by Dennis Leary. You may remember he was played by James Cromwell in the last movie and in comic book lore is the one adult figure who truly goes out of his way to promote Spider-Man as being a force for good, which made his death all the more tragic.
In the comics, Captain Stacy dies whilst saving a child from falling debris but before taking his last breath, he tells Spidey (who he has figured out is really Peter Parker in a costume) to look after his daughter Gwen, who later incidentally blames Spidey for causing her father's death.
