First Look: Red Skull Concept Art For CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER

Comic Book Movie claim they have firm confirmation that this is official Red Skull concept art for Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger that opens in July. And the the giveaway that probably makes it real? - The fact Skull is holding out the Cosmic Cube, which looks identical to the real image of the cube and Skull in human form (played by Hugo Weaving of course) that leaked over the weekend. The image also is strikingly similar to those Captain America uniform concept designs that were proven to be legit last year. You can see the images in full below and make sure you let us know what you think of this potential look. And here's the image of the Cosmic Cube as scanned by SFX Magazine that I stumbled across on Collider (via Superhero Hype)... Marvel readers will know The Cube is a key part of the Marvel Universe and from what we understand, is pivotal in the opening scene of Captain America: The First Avenger as the human formed Red Skull goes on the hunt for it. From the sounds of things, it could even have a bigger play in other Marvel movies. Captain America: The First Avenger is directed by Joe Johnston, and is due out in 3D on July 22nd (U.S.) and July 29th (U.K.)
