First Trailer For Shane Black's The Predator Has Arrived!

Over 30-years on from our introduction to the Predator, and after a sequel, a couple of crossovers, and a reboot, Shane Black is now offering a 'reinvention' of the franchise - and the first trailer is finally here (which you can check out below).
Black - who acted in the original Predator - has directed and co-written the new movie (alongside The Monster Squad's Fred Dekker), which serves as a sequel of sorts to Predator and Predator 2. It sees the Predators return to Earth with something of an upgrade, and a team put together to try and stop them. The full synopsis reads:
"From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race."
The first trailer isn't giving too much away, but does give a flavour of the tone and style of the movie, and shows off its impressive cast, which includes Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Jacob Trembalay, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Yvonne Strahovski, and Alfie Allen.
The movie is currently scheduled for release on September 14, 2018.
