Flashpoint: 9 Things It Means For The DC Extended Universe
7. Superman As A Lab Rat
Flashpoint is unlikely to be much fun for Henry Cavill (assuming he's still Superman in 2020), as he spends the first half of the story imprisoned as a government lab rat.
Flash, Batman and Cyborg later find the Man of Steel looking more like a man of tinfoil incarcerated in a Metropolis research centre, skinny and pale enough to demand Cavill adopt Christian Bale's Machinist diet in the run-up to the film.
Supes is given a piece of the action later on. Following his liberation, he arrives on the scene just in time to assist the heroes in the final battle, swooping in and crushing the Enchantress from above.
This could be a cool cameo for Cavill and a not-so-cool one for Cara Delevingne, who played the Enchantress in Suicide Squad.
Flashpoint could end up being more character-packed than Avengers: Infinity War.
