2. "Rick, You Little Meatball."
Rick - A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Dream Master http://youtu.be/5ZJsCD489lY This was a tough one to include, and most may not even rate this as "insane," but really think about it. Freddy pops up at Alice's restaurant and informs her that, "if the food don't kill ya, the service will!" The setting of the empty run-down diner is so unsettling. I love the perform of the zombified waitress, she is great. This mega creepy waitress serves Freddy's "usual"(yes, that is what he says)... a pizza with human-head-meatballs! Freddy digs one of his claws into the Rick meatball and eats him to the terror of Alice. There are only three figures, and it is very subdued. Yet it has something special about it. Look at this face.... Insane moments like these are why these films are still loved. Gross, unsettling and funny. Nightmare 3 and 4 strike a balance between these elements. This is not the case in The Dream Child or The Final Nightmare, both of which ruin this dynamic.
