Freddy Krueger's 10 Most Insane Kills

1. Wile E. Freddy?

John - Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare http://youtu.be/t7niDDJmG-0?t=7m42s Looking at the camera and a comedic reaction shot of John as he spots the awaiting spikes. This whole scene is more akin to an adventure of Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner, rather than one of the final murders committed by a scheming child killing psycho. Why is this the most insane kill of the series? Well, because it happened! Everything that made Freddy scary in the original was completely forgotten by this stage. Remember by the time this film rolled around, Freddy was the franchise! He was many children's Halloween costume. He even had a TV show! In short, he was the 80's Slasher genre for most. Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare is the sixth in the series and it is an experience, it contains the most insane kills of any slasher film. Even though it is less surreal than The Dream Children, there is no pathos for any of his the victims. You either want them to die, or just don't care about them. Freddy too is annoying and drab at this point. The black comedy fate of a successful slasher film infected the titans of this genre, Friday the 13th, Halloween and even Hellraiser. The sequels for each are unwatchable! Seriously, watch Hellrasier: Deader. Sequel after sequel, they drastically diminished the impact of the original, as the "villain" became the hero, or even worse remained the only character that you actually cared about. Don't get me wrong some of these are still enjoyable, just take the kills on this list. There are good moments, but the question remains were all these insane kills worth it?
