2. “Welcome To Prime Time” - A Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors

“Welcome to prime-time bitch!” Easily the most quoted line in all the Nightmare franchise. Bringing in this death at anything other than the number one spot is probably considered a crime by avid Freddy fans. While the death itself was not amazing, the spawning of one of the most quoted lines in movie history cements this in the runner up spot.

Jennifer Caulfield was a patient at Westin Hills Asylum because of her suicidal tendencies, though she was actually being terrorized by Freddy. Jennifer is one of the last remaining original Elm Street children, her parents having taken part in the murder of Freddy Kruger. Before Freddy entered her dreams, she dreamt of being a famous actress and was determined to make it, despite being in a psychiatric hospital.

One night, Jennifer is watching a talk show when she dozes off. Suddenly the talk show host turns into Freddy and kills Zsa Zsa Gabor, quickly followed by static. She approaches the tv to fix it when suddenly two mechanical arms burst out the sides and pick her up into the air. Freddy’s head emerges from the top of the tv and tells Jennifer it is her big break, utters his most infamous line and smashes her head into the screen.
