Frozen 2: 8 Revelations From The First Trailer

The next shot in the trailer offers up our first glimpse of Anna's partner in crime and love interest, Kristoff. The shot pulls back to reveal that not only is he now riding his trusty steed, Sven, but that the two of them are leading an entire army of reindeer together.

This is definitely something entirely new for the franchise, considering that the previous film and even Disney's official website characterized Sven as "a reindeer with the heart of a Labrador". He and Kristoff certainly didn't shy away from heroic moments and attempting to save Anna and Elsa in the finale of the first film, but they also were never exactly battle-ready.

Here, they both look determined and even a little angry, as if they are charging into a war of some sort. Count on this shot to come late in the runtime of the finished film, most likely during or just before the third act. And judging by the look on Kristoff's face, something terrible may happen to Anna during this portion of the film as well.
