Frozen 2: 8 Revelations From The First Trailer

5. Anna As A Warrior

Speaking of Anna, she may not get an extended and phenomenal prologue in the trailer like Elsa does but she isn't exactly dragging her feet either.

Aside from the floating crystals shot, the first substantial bit she gets sees her alone and isolated in a dark and forebodingly rocky environment. She looks incredibly distraught and maybe even a little lost here before regaining her courage and making a killer slow-motion leap over a chasm. It's also worth noting that the setting looks very similar to the shore we see Elsa on at the beginning of the trailer, so she could very well be searching for a missing Elsa here.

But the real money shot for Anna is actually the very last shot of the trailer, as the camera pushes in on Anna, Kristoff, and Elsa. Anna spots this, draws Kristoff's sword (Kristoff has a sword now!?!), and attacks.

This is a far cry from the naive and often vulnerable character seen in the first film and shows that the creative team behind Frozen II have obviously taken the task of making her a stronger character to heart. In this trailer, she's positively badass.
