Full Batman V. Superman Teaser Trailer Running Time Revealed

It's a lot longer than just five seconds.

Thanks to the BBFC's certification process, we now know that the first Batman V. Superman trailer is all done and ready to roll out with a total run time of two minutes and six seconds. Here in the UK, where the BBFC operate, we don't have the green MPAA card at the front, so most of that time can be expected to feature footage. I'm sure there will be company logos at the front, credits blocks at the back and, almost certainly, some bits of black screen as we go along, but it's an estimate at least. This all lends credence to the rumours claiming a first look snippet will drop tomorrow, ahead of a roll-out into cinemas on April 20th. The first to see footage from Batman v. Superman were the crowd in San Diego Comic Con's Hall H last summer. What they saw was basically a paired set of posing pieces, with Batman showing off an armoured Dark Knight Returns-style outfit, and Superman modelling his slightly-redesigned figure hugging ensemble. I expect this first teaser won't be exactly the same, and could well be very different. The fact that Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL have only recently recorded the music suggests the edit was wrapped recently. Anyway, it's almost here. Top of my personal wish list is that we get to hear Ben Affleck's bat voice. They're always hilarious. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in March 2016. There's a long road ahead, with trailers every few months until there are trailers every few weeks. This is just the beginning.
