Gerard Butler sets up his own production shingle Evil Twins

And will star in the company's first movie, a psychological thriller titled LAW ABIDING CHILDREN from the writer of THE RECRUIT.

Gerard Butler has setup his own production shingle with his long time manager Alan Siegel. The company titled Evil Twins will produce Law Abiding Children as their first project, a psychological thriller that Butler will lead from a script by Kurt Wimmer (The Recruit, The Thomas Crown Affair). Butler will star as a successful assistant D.A. who finds himself at the center of a vigilante plot hatched by a traumatized victim of the legal system say Variety. Shooting will begin on the movie this summer once Butler has completed the romantic comedy The Ugly Truth (alongside Katherine Heigl). He has recently completed his parts in the new Guy Ritchie movie Rock'n'Rolla, the futuristic thriller Game and the soon to be released Nim's Island. Evil Twins also have in development Hanging Tale (unknown script from the writer of Groundhog Day who hasn't worked in Hollywood for 14 years) and Teacher Man (based on a Frank McCourt novel, the writer of Angela's Ashes).
