Ghostbusters: 21 WTF Moments In The Female Remake
16. Ozzy Osbourne's Sad, Sad Cameo
The sooner someone rolls Ozzy Osbourne into a retirement home the better. He might be a legitimate rock icon, but his stage presence has been diminished by the ravages of time and it's got to the point that actual Black Sabbath fans have started to wonder if it wouldn't be better if the band went on without him.
To see him included as a sad little cameo (referencing his wife, who he's apparently splitting up with) was just another tragedy. And even worse, it's utterly pointless: he's included just because he could be, rather than there being any narrative value or any comic pay-off.
They could have had him be the band on stage when the ghost attacks, but instead that accolade goes to some miming impostor trying his best to be James Hetfield. It's like they were on the bill higher than Ozzy, and judging by how flatly his "gag" falls, it's not actually unfair.
