The breakout character from the film was Chris Hemsworth's simpleton receptionist Kevin, who effortlessly dominated every scene he was in, never failing to get a laugh. Obviously he'll return in the sequel and, while he was already more than just a standard receptionist (a job he delightfully could barely do), playing a key part in the villain's plot and appearing on much of the marketing, it's likely his role will be expanded making him something of a "Fifth Ghostbuster".

There's plenty of allusions to this happening in some, with his eagerness to help the team and ultimate acceptance as a key part of the organisation laying character and narrative groundwork.

Having a fifth, male Ghostbuster will also be a nice way to mix up the status quo a little too, offering a new side to the group dynamic. And on that note...
