Ghostbusters: Every Cameo Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Dan Aykroyd

Ghostbusters 2016 Cameos
Columbia Pictures

Role: "Cabbie"

it's rather unfortunate that Dan Aykroyd can't act any more. The former SNL genius gave up trying some time ago after a string of hits in the 1980s and 90s and seems to get by mostly on cameos in Adam Sandler movies (as well as that unforgivable Yogi Bear atrocity).

And while his line delivery - and the ridiculously trite appropriation of "I ain't afraid of no ghost" - is enough to make your eyes rolls permanently back into your head, the idea of his character is at least funny. The punchline basically being that a New York cabbie wouldn't allow something as piffling as the apocalypse to make them go further than they planned on jobs.

Plus, he scores extra points for the little noticed Easter Egg that he appears to be wearing the exact same outfits as the ghoulish cab driver from the oriignal film. Which possibly ranks as the best reference in the entire movie.
