Ghostbusters: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

17. Cabbie (Dan Aykroyd)

Ghostbusters Abduction
Warner Bros.

Dan Aykroyd's cameo is decidedly more brief even if it ends up being a whole lot more on-the-nose. As New York City is flooded with ghosts in the movie's climax, Erin tries to get in his cab, but he refuses to drive her a few blocks, and in rather cringe-worthy fashion tells her he "ain't 'fraid of no ghosts".

The fact that he acknowledges the classification of ghosts flying around is the vaguest of hints that perhaps this cabbie is in fact a retired Ray Stantz, but of course, that will probably never be officially confirmed.

It's totally lacking in subtlety, but at least it's over much quicker than the Bill Murray cameo.
