Ghostbusters Reboot: 29 Easter Eggs, References & In-Jokes

There are of course a number of other cameos in the film - though sadly there's not one for Ron Jeremy who should have been brought back after his beloved cameo in the original. In his place, Ozzy Osbourne appears as himself and still manages to act unconvincingly.

The others are more difficult to spot: Robin Shelby voices Mrs Slimer having been part of the ILM effects team behind Slimer in Ghostbusters II, Harold Ramis' son Daniel appears as an extra in the rock club sequence and SNL writer Steve Higgins turns up as the Dean of the aptly named Higgins Institute Of Science (named in his honour no doubt).

There's also a brief cameo for Matteo Borghese as the lighting technician in the rock concert scene.

The most convoluted cameo comes in the shape of Frank Sinatra lookalike Toby Huss's cop Officer Stevenson, who turns up for about three seconds. The reason he's remarkable? Well he did star in the 2010 Halloween episode of Children's Hospital called "I Am Not Afraid Of Any Ghost"...
