21. Bill Murray's Cameo
Bill Murray's cameo is very much an amalgamation of two classic Ghostbusters characters. He plays Martin Heiss, a famous skeptic and debunker who takes pride in disproving urban myths and hoaxes.
His malevolent presence - no matter how brief - is pretty much the same as Walter Peck in the first Ghostbusters. It's also something of a continuation of Venkman's role as a TV personality in Ghostbusters II.
Interestingly, Murray was supposed to be killed off in the original plans for Ghostbusters III, and his death survived into this redo. It's a slight shame he wasn't then reborn as a ghost, though.
