7. Chris Hemsworth Steals The Entire Film

It was always suspected that Chris Hemsworth, who plays an incredibly dense and incredibly handsome receptionist named Kevin, might turn out to be the film's most valuable player - purely on the basis of what we got to see of him in the trailers (also: the very idea of Chris Hemsworth as a receptionist... hilarious).

True to these predictions, there are very few reviews out there which don't make a point of claiming that Hemsworth is the best thing in the entire film.

"Chris Hemsworth steals the film completely," says Julian Roman of MovieWeb, summing up the general consensus with one swift line.

In her Metro write-up, Caroline Westbrook praises Hemsworth as a genuinely funny comedian with bonafide comic chops:

"As likeable as our central female quartet may be, it’s ultimately Chris Hemsworth who almost steals the entire film from under their noses as bungling, thick-as-a-brick receptionist Kevin. Because Chris – whose character is so endearingly dim he completely fails to realise just how much he is being comically objectified by his new female employees – proves himself to be rather an adept comedian as he bumbles his way through proceedings. Seriously, who knew?"

A few of us knew, Caroline: there's always been a humorous, self-aware undercurrent to the way Hemsworth plays Thor, after all.
