Of course, all this new gear doesn't mean the new movie's done away with the most iconic piece of Ghostbusters kit - the proton pack and particle thrower. We see Abby, Holtzmann and Patty using them in the trailer, with Erin no doubt just off-screen (or in the clutches of the ghosts the others are attacking) and they look great - the design of the blast is on-point and it appears Feig's managed to ensure they still feel like the most powerful weapon at the gang's disposal.
