6. New Weapons

There's quite a few coolm ghost-fighting weapons seen in the trailer that give a taste of some of the varied busting action we'll get to see. Erin has a short, rifle-esque weapon that looks to have a pretty powerful kick.

Holtzmann, meanwhile, opts for two pistol-like weapons, which are no doubt effective, although it's hard to get over her licking them. Is she making sure no one else touches them? Are they powered by saliva? I dunno, it'll probably make some sense in the film.

By far the coolest of the new weapons are Abby's electro-knuckle dusters that allow her to punch ghosts. I repeat, punch ghosts. Not everything in the trailer lands, but this is one thing that really hits - in addition to being a cool idea, the effect is also really good, looking exactly like you'd imagine punching a ghost with a weird gizmo like that would.
