4. Look Of Godzilla
Now judging by the above concept art this is another section where it looks as though the film is heading in the right direction. Just look at how awesome that would be see on the big screen. A crucial part of this film will of course rely on how realistic the main attraction himself is. Or more importantly how terrifying he is. This is again where the previous incarnation failed. The Godzilla of 1998 seemed to be more inspired by the look of Jurassic Park's T-Rex. Now, while we would want a similar impact to the one the T-Rex made in Jurassic Park, we also want a creature that we can truly look on in awe and know this is Godzilla. Not a cheap deformed T-Rex knock off. Above is what they should aim for and let's hope they are sticking to this concept. Also it didn't help that the 1998 film seemed to forget about making Godzilla stick to one size throughout the film. He was bigger than a skyscraper at one point and then was half the size of one at another. It was a constant distraction that we hope will be addressed in the reboot. This is again where the advancements in modern film making should really excel past these silly errors. To really be able to put on screen a monster the audience/characters generally fear would be a testament to the filmmakers, CGI wizards, motion capture performers or whatever you want to give credit to. Either way give us a monster that will be remembered down the years as being worthy of the Godzilla legend.
