Godzilla Vs. Kong: 10 Fixes That Would've Improved It

9. Give The First Battle A More Coherent Edit

Regarding the set-pieces, director Adam Wingard did a very good job on the movie and both of the final act battles are absolutely fantastic, but the first fight between the two titular monsters needed quite a lot of work.

This set-piece, which takes place at sea, is completely incoherent and it's very hard to tell where anyone is or what is actually going on, making this a showcase of really bad editing. As a result, this fight scene isn't as thrilling or fun as it might've been.

Therefore, this entire sequence needed to be sent back to the editing room for a do-over.
