Godzilla Vs. Kong: 10 Fixes That Would've Improved It

8. More Screentime For Godzilla

The most frustrating thing about Godzilla Vs. Kong is that it doesn't learn from some of the mistakes of its predecessors.

It's still far too overstuffed with different plot-lines, many of the human characters still don't work, a shocking number of great actors are wasted and Godzilla is under-used yet AGAIN.

Godzilla disappears for large stretches of the film and Kong gets far more screen-time, meaning that this often felt like a Kong movie in disguise. The film should've cut out some of the unnecessary bloat (more on that shortly) and given Godzilla quite a bit more to do, especially since he's arguably the more interesting and bad-ass of the two monsters.

It's odd, really.

After Godzilla: King of the Monsters was significantly harmed by Godzilla barely being in it, you'd have thought the studio would've learned its lesson.
