7. Rodan
The highest profile survivor from King of the Monsters (asides Godzilla himself), Rodan joined the other Titans in apparently accepting Godzilla's place at the top of the food chain.
Rodan got some starring moments throughout the 2019 film, in particular his pursuit of the main characters aboard the USS Argo standing out as one of the movie's most exciting sequences. Yet he, too, is a notable absence from the latest adventure.
Perhaps wisely, Rodan bows to whichever Titan is king of the hill at whatever time. Originally aligned with King Ghidorah, he comes to follow Godzilla after the three-headed beast is finally beaten. Had Kong managed to usurp Godzilla, it makes sense that Rodan would have bowed to him, too. The last we heard of Rodan, he had found a new nest in northern Fiji which attracted thousands of spectators.
Rodan is a more neutral Titan who only seems to attack when provoked or ordered to by his alpha. Perhaps he's quite content living in solitude away from prying eyes. However, his iconic Titan status remains, and in King of the Monsters he still showed audiences enough to warrant a reappearance in a future adventure, either working with Godzilla or against him.
