1. Brad Pitt Wins His First Golden Globe In 24 Years

As pretty much everybody expected, Brad Pitt won the Best Supporting Actor (Film) award for his fantastic performance as Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, marking his first Golden Globe win in 24 years since scooping the very same award for Terry Gilliam's 12 Monkeys.

Pitt gave a typically charming speech where he showered praise on his co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, before ending his speech with an hysterical reference to Titanic, telling Leo, "I would've shared the raft."

Better still, this bolsters Pitt's already firm stature as the frontrunner for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar next month, which would be his first acting win after four nominations, having previously won an Oscar for producing 12 Years a Slave.
