Black obviously had the chance to meet R.L. Stine himself, having spoken to him a lot in order to make a connection to play the author as a character successfully in the film. He also sweetened the pot for Goosebumps fans by admitting the real Stine will make an appearance in the movie. Black said "Hes been on set and he actually did a little cameo. He saw what I was doing and he was digging it. Or at least he pretended like he was digging it". Whatever this cameo involves has not yet been confirmed, and it looks like audiences might just have to wait until the Goosebumps release to see what Stine gets up to during the movie.
I love Stephen King and music festivals; I eat my toast upside down; I daydream about getting married probably a bit too much; and I wish every day for a pet sausage dog puppy (who never materialises – sob).
