Guardians Of The Galaxy: 10 Cameos We Want to See

7. Phyla-Vell

Not all of Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning's Guardians made the cut for the first movie. Phyla-Vell, also known as Quasar and then Martyr, was an immediate member of Peter Quill's band of misfit superheroes. She was also at the center of some major developments in that run. Phyla-Vell began the story as the grieving lover of Moondragon. It was a bond she shared with Moondragon's father, Drax. Their search for Moondragon, whom Phyla-Vell could sense was still alive in some form, led her and Drax on a surreal adventure somewhere between life and death. Even without that storyline, Phyla-Vell could be paid some homage with a brief appearance somewhere in the film. Perhaps she could be a fellow prisoner where we first met the Guardians in that trailer. If Marvel has bigger plans for her in the future, then there's no problem with saving her for the next installment.
