Guardians Of The Galaxy: 10 Glaring Flaws Everybody Just Ignored

Great films can have big problems, too.

Despite the fact that everybody on the planet seems to have collectively agreed that Guardians of the Galaxy - the latest movie in the extensive Marvel Cinematic Universe canon - is one of the greatest comic book films ever made, it's far from perfect; though it certainly excelled in a good number of aspects (everything from the bold casting to the brilliant special effects), there were a number of issues inherent to the picture on the whole that - for one reason or another - folk seem to have plainly overlooked. There's good reason for this, of course, which harks back to the those initial - and very universal - musings that predicted Guardians of the Galaxy as a future flop and critical dud. There were feelings amongst Marvel fans that the premise of the movie didn't gel well with the established MCU, and that characters such as Rocket Racoon and Groot would jar with what had already been laid out. As we all now know, none of this stuff proved to be an issue - not only did it make nearly a billion dollars, critics loved it. Which brings us to the point: Guardians of the Galaxy defied expectations to such a degree that people have completely overlooked its flaws. After all, if the picture had turned out even half as good as it actually did, people would have still been impressed... the fact that it was so entertaining for the sum of its parts has somehow rendered the movie immune to criticism. And, for all intents and purposes, it is a great blockbuster... for the most part. Still, here are 10 nagging flaws everybody has chosen to ignore...
