Guardians Of The Galaxy: 10 Glaring Flaws Everybody Just Ignored

6. Benicio Del Toro Was Entirely Wasted

At the end of Thor: The Dark World, Marvel fans were treated to a scene in which a couple of Thor's friends visit a mysterious character named "The Collector" (played by Benicio Del Toro), who agrees to house one of the Infinity Stones within the confines of his extensive collection. It was later revealed that this character would feature in Guardians of the Galaxy, where it was assumed we would learn a lot more about him. Benicio Del Toro's role in Guardians, however, fills less than 10 minutes; not only do we discover barely anything new about The Collector, he disappears from the movie entirely as soon as his one scene is over. Were the majority of his scenes cut or something? Worst of all, The Collector - with his dandy mannerisms - was way more interesting to watch when compared to the likes of Ronan the Accuser; what gives, Marvel?
