We still have no word on how the primary antagonist for next years Avengers sequel will come to be be, but we know that the Marvel Cinematic Universes most psychotic and deadly artificial intelligence isnt going to share the same origin as his comics counterpart. But if he isnt the genius creation of one Hank Pym, then how will Ultron be formed? One fan favourite theory has it that one of Tony Starks Iron Man armoured suits will achieve sentience and, Skynet style, upgrade itself into Ultron, forcing Stark out of retirement and back into the superhero game. This would also explain the appearance of android The Vision in the film, played by Paul Bettany Bettany, of course, having previously played the voice of Starks AI major domo, J.A.R.V.I.S. So what if some mysterious something from space causes that sentience? Something like another Infinity Gem? Its entirely possible that the events of Guardians Of The Galaxy could lead directly to the events of Avengers: Age Of Ultron, just as the events of Captain America: The First Avenger lead directly to the events of The Avengers. Its absolutely Marvels style to have plot points in one film form the catalyst for the next episode in the saga. Were crossing our fingers and putting our chips down here: the dawn of the age of Ultron could well start with Marvels upcoming weird little space movie. Guardians Of The Galaxy isnt such an odd fish now, is it? What little teasers and cameos do you expect to see in the latest instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in August? Let us know in the comments!
