Ophelia Lovibond reprises her role as the Collector's assistant, which she first played in the mid-credits scene of Thor: The Dark World. Carina, like Bereet, is a Kylorian. In the movie, she sought to escape her tormented and imprisoned life (she was essentially being utilised as a slave by the Collector) so, upon hearing about the incredible power of the Orb that he had just been given, she grabbed its core in an attempt use its power to kill him. However, it was so powerful that it completely disintegrated Carina in a massive purple explosion, which only injured her boss, but destroyed most of his prized collection. It is extremely possible that the character was based on Carina Walters, the daughter of the Collector from the comic books and the future wife of Michael Korvac (a Guardians of the Galaxy foe).
