It might be something of a leap, but where there are Kree, there are Skrull. The two races are as definitively linked to each other as Batman and the Joker: they are defined by their conflict, and while having a Kree-Skrull War movie would probably be too off-track, using the Kree to warn of the Skrull threat is a big opportunity. And that means we could see Secret Invasion as the next big event in the MCU after Infinity War. Try shaking the idea of seeing evil versions of the Avengers, the Guardians, and the Inhumans all fighting against their non-impostor counter-parts. That's the kind of epic event that would satisfyingly follow Thanos. And in the long-term if that means that Dark Reign could also be a comic book movie, then that's even more of a great thing.
