10. It's A Lot Of Fun

There's that word again. The one DC fans tend to use with venom as an indication of why the MCU is inferior to everything Zack Snyder has ever made. The one that Marvel fans use with glee as an indication of why the opposite is true. The word that shouldn't be used as such an important indicator of quality.

Anyone who isn't looking for a fun time from early summer blockbusters needs to reconsider their priorities. These are comic book movies, and while there can be adult stakes and heavy emotional story-lines, that doesn't mean you have to fundamentally throw entertainment factor out of the window.

It's exciting to hear that Vol 2 seems to deliver not only on laughs and heart, but also on fun, and that it's a universally appealing experience...

The film also definitely sounds like a crowd-pleaser, which is great considering how far this sequel could have gone into impenetrable hardcore fan territory...
