11. It's Colourful

Having seen the first Thor: Ragnarok trailer, it's very clear that Phase 3 is sticking with Marvel's commitment to the use of colour in the long-term, and that's clearly also very much the case with Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2.

With the DCEU doubling down on brooding tone and a fundamentally darker palette (this is not a bad thing per se, so don't jump on the comments needlessly), Marvel are going in the opposite direction, channelling the work of Jack Kirby and the golden age of comics.

Even in space, it seems the colours can be vibrant, which is definitely a good thing.
