Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2: 12 Biggest Questions It Leaves Unanswered

1. How Did Stan Lee Talk About Events That Hadn't Happened Yet?

The Question: During Stan Lee's first appearance with the Watchers, he mentions being a FedEx delivery man, which is of course a reference to his cameo in Captain America: Civil War.

With this film taking place approximately two years before Civil War, though, how can Lee's character talk about events that haven't even happened yet?

The Likely Answer: In reality this was probably just a continuity error, but you can bet that if James Gunn is asked about it, he'll claim that it's a reference to the Watchers viewing time in non-linear fashion...or something like that.

That assumes that this Stan Lee character is actually a Watcher himself, but of course, that's a whole other question.
