3. Nathan Fillion Has A Cameo

The Theory: James Gunn's old pal Nathan Fillion, who had a voice cameo in the previous Guardians film, will appear as Simon Williams aka Wonder Man.

The Truth: Unfortunately there's no Nathan Fillion here, but in fairness, Fillion did actually film the aforementioned cameo, appearing on Earth in movie poster form, having recently starred in a Steve Jobs-esque biopic of Tony Stark (Williams being an actor and all).

Sadly the part got cut from the final film, likely for pacing reasons, as stopping to admire some posters probably would've just bogged down the brief glimpse we're given of Ego's Earthly rampage.

People believed this one with damn good reason, especially as set photos of the posters pointed to Fillion absolutely appearing in it, but as ever, nothing's certain until the picture is locked.

Maybe he'll get his due when the movie hits Blu-ray, though?
