12. The Troll

After Yondu has heart-breakingly sacrificed himself to save Peter Quill (having revealed he felt he was his real father all along) - which is a call-back to Peter almost doing the same thing to save Gamora in the first movie (like father, like son) - we get the gut-wrenching funeral scene that should leave everyone in bits.

As the Guardians prepare to cremate him in the Milano's engine, Yondu's body is surrounded by trinkets and tributes to him, and the most devastating is the troll Peter places next to him, which was of course also the item he swapped for the Power Stone in the first film's climax.
