15. Gamora's Big Gun... Shoots The Milano?!

As seen in the second trailer, Gamora at one point packs a hell of a gun - several times her size, and now this trailer confirms that the target she's firing at is actually the Milano, which is very strange and exciting.

Spoiler: Nebula is the pilot and this is part of their sisterly "tiff". Absolutely no love lost between the two, clearly.

Incidentally, James Gunn is a Marvel Easter Egg genius, but if he thinks he can get away with having a Superman Easter Egg in his sequel without fans noticing, he has wildly misjudged us all. That gun is 100% a riff on a similar weapon that an 150-year-old Supes wielded against supremacist robo-Hitler clones in the god-awful comic At Earth's End from 1995.

Okay so maybe it's accidental, but it still provoked an immediate memory of this travesty. It's horse manure, so don't be lulled into thinking it sounds cool.
